On the 24th of January, YEU was invited by the Organising Bureau of European School Union (OBESSU) to join the presentation of its project: “Innovation Station”, which revolved around youth digital education and its promotion in key education institutions. On behalf of YEU, our Project Assistant Irene Gonzales and Communication Volunteer, Camille Chesta took part in the event.
During the event, we found out more about the project’s outcomes and policy recommendations for quality online and blended education activities.
In the final discussion corners session, participants had the opportunity to give their feedback about the policy recommendations and debate about their implementation at the local, national, and European level. A golden opportunity for sharing opinions and ideas about youth digital upskilling, tools for digital education and the engagement of both education stakeholders and policymakers to guide the youth generation towards the digital transition.
After the OBESSU project presentation, a Networking event was organized by the Lifelong Learning Platform (LLLP), of which YEU is a Member Organisation. Our Secretary General, Selin Gürlemez and Membership & Communication Officer, Chiara Veronese also joined this event.
